(20) Course
Overview:
The Course focuses on bridging traditional film/TV
with modern AVGC & Generative AI. It highlights the three pillars: FTII’s film
legacy (Film), the creative tech (AVGC), and the future-proof skill (AI).
(A) Open to: Basic AVGC
knowledge, OR relevant certification, OR degree. Working professionals,
graduates, freelancers, and even self-taught editors can apply
(B)
What Makes This Course Unique?
(i) Generative
AI + AVGC (Not just AI theory): Most AI
courses are generic. This one applies AI specifically to post-production
workflows (editing, sound, VFX).
(a) Generative AI Masterclasses
·
Learn Eleven Labs, Lite X, AI-assisted
video/audio tools: Complete tasks 3x faster – AI voiceover, AI upscaling, AI
captions, AI color assist
·
No coding required; purely creative AI
applications: Any editor or designer can adopt it immediately without technical
background
(b)
AVGC
Post-Production Core
·
Foundations in Photoshop, Premiere, After
Effects, Audition, DaVinci Resolve: Participants can edit, grade, mix, and
composite – a full post-production suite skillset
·
Taught by industry practitioners, not
academic theorists: Real-world shortcuts, workflows, and troubleshooting tips
(c)
Practical
Industry Projects
·
One complete project (e.g., AI-enhanced short
film, motion graphic reel, or AVGC trailer): Portfolio piece that demonstrates
both traditional post-production + generative AI skills.
·
Project reviewed by FTII-associated mentors:
Constructive feedback that improves your hireability
(ii) 3-Month
Accelerated Format: Faster than a diploma
(6–12 months), deeper than a workshop (2–5 days). Ideal for working
professionals.
(iii) 6+ Industry-Standard Tools: Covers Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, Audition),
DaVinci Resolve, Eleven Labs, CapCut – no tool left behind.
(iv) Live Industry Project in Month 3: Portfolio-ready output, not just theory. Work on real-style briefs from
AVGC studios.
(v) No Prior AI
Experience Required: Open to traditional editors, VFX artists,
and filmmakers who want to upskill. Basic AVGC knowledge is sufficient
(vi) FTII Association
(Govt. of India): Only program of its kind with backing from
India's most prestigious film institute under Ministry of I&B for
understanding filmmaking and its use in AVGC & AI.
(C)
Benefits:
(i) AI skills that
save time: Generate voiceovers, captions, and effects in
minutes, not hours.
(ii)
Job-ready in 3 months: No
2-year degree needed. Start freelancing or apply for senior roles sooner.
(iii) One portfolio project: Show don't tell. Prove you can use AI + traditional tools together.
(iv) Workflow efficiency: Learn when to use Premiere vs CapCut, After Effects vs DaVinci Fusion,
Eleven Labs vs traditional recording.
(v) Government-recognized institute backing:
Trust, quality assurance, and industry doors
open faster.
