CANON CEO VISITS FTII; ASSURES MORE COOPERATION WITH FTII
On his first visit to the Institute, Mr Manabu Yamazaki, President & CEO Canon India undertook a tutored tour of the campus. He was delighted to see the collection of cameras and other equipments at FTII.
During the meeting with FTII faculties, Prof. Sandeep Shahare detailed the academic activities of the Institute and performance of alumni in the industry.
Prof Sandeep Shahare thanked Mr Yamazaki for Canon's continued association with FTII as a technology partner of SKIFT (Skilling India in Film and Television) under which short courses were conducted on Digital Cinematography, Digital Film Production and Still Photography. SKIFT and other outreach activities are now held under the Centre for Open Learning of the Institute.
