ICONIC SUMMER FILM APPRECIATION COURSE BEGINS AT FTII ; 79 PARTICIPANTS FROM 16 STATES AND BANGLADESH ENROL FOR THE ONE MONTH COURSE.
 
The much-awaited annual 44th Summer Film Appreciation (FA) Course began in FTII Campus today.
 
Eight-time National Award winning film maker Shaji Karun (FTII,Cinematography,1974) whose body of work includes 7 Malayalam feature films as Director and 45 feature films in several languages as DoP, inaugurated the Course in the presence of Bhupendra Kainthola, Director, FTII, Keerti Tiwari, Deputy Director, NFAI and Amit Tyagi, Course Director  (FTII,Direction,1985)
 
Jointly conducted by Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) Pune and National Film Archive of India (NFAI), the Course is being attended by 79 participants, which includes 35 women, from the following 16 states 
 
1)Maharashtra (Pune, Solapur, Mumbai,Thane, Nagpur, Dhule, Aurangabad, Kolhapur)
2) UP (Lucknow, Noida, Prayagraj,Pilibhit) 
3) Delhi
4) Kerala (Kochi,Thiruvananthapuram)

6) West Bengal (Kolkata)
7) Uttarakhand (Dehradun)  
8) Rajasthan (Barmer)
9) Tamil Nadu (Chennai, Salem)
10) Telangana (Hyderabad,  Hegdoli)

The Course will close on 1st June 2019.
