PARLIAMENTARY STANDING COMMITTEE HOLDS MEETING WITH FTII OFFICIALS ON WAYS TO PROMOTE FILM EDUCATION

The Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education, Women, Children, Youth and Sports visited the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) today.
Led by Dr. Vinay P Sahasrabuddhe, Chairman, 14 Members of Parliament from Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha.
discussed steps to be taken by FTII for promotion of film education. Some FTII alumni were also invited to the Meeting.

Bhupendra Kainthola, Director; Dhiraj Meshram, Dean Films ; Sandeep K Shahare, Dean TV ; Ms Dhanpreet Kaur, Director (Films), M/o Information and Broadcasting ; Sayyid Rabeehashmi, Registrar and Minal Kakde, Chief Accounts Officer.
The meeting was coordinated by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt of India.
