WEEKEND FILM APPRECIATION COURSE BEGINS IN FTII, 118 PARTICIPANTS FROM 6 STATES ENROL.
 
A weekend Film Appreciation course (Feb 16-March 17) began in Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) Pune campus today with Amit Tyagi (FTII,Film Direction,1985) as Course Director. 
 
118 participants (includes 41 women) from 6 states of age range 18-61 have enrolled for the Course. 
 
The participants are from 
1) Maharashtra (Mumbai, Pune, Solapur, Parbhani, Latur, Nagpur, Osmanabad,Satara, Aurangabad, Ahmednagar and Nashik.
2) Kerala (Alappuzha)
3) Delhi
4) UP (Kanpur,Ghaziabad,Noida,Azamgarh)
5) Karnataka (Bijapur)
6) Bihar (Patna, Arrah, Bhojpur)
 
Their education profile is as follows ;  
HSC,BA,B Com,B Sc,B Tech,BE,CA,MA,M Com, M Sc, MCM, MBA, and Ph D.
 
In January- February FTII had conducted a similar weekend Film Appreciation course in Delhi.
