Two Year PG Diploma Course In Screen Acting
This course is designed to equip students to deal with the ever changing scenario of the cinematic environment. The mission of FTII Acting Course is to awaken the imagination, emotion and intellect of the student actor by making them aware of the transforming power and universality of acting and teach them the skills required to achieve excellence in performance. Students commence their training with common course classes in the basics of film making for twelve weeks. In first year specialization they learn all aspects of theatre training with a year-end performance of a play project. Second year training is focused & rooted in nuances of Film Acting with proper technical support under the guidance & supervision of eminent personalities from both theatre & films.

Eligibility criteria
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.- Written examination of 03 hours duration (JET) for 100 marks, conducted at examination centres around the country. Qualifying candidates in the written examination are further called for an audition.
- Based on the performance of written test and audition, Result 1 is prepared with each stage carrying 50% weightage.
- Short-listed Candidates (as per Result 1) will be called for orientation & interview and Medical test. Result 2 is prepared on the basis of orientation & interview.
- Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of Result 1 and Result 2, each carrying 50% weighting subject to qualifying in the Medical test.
