Internal Committee (IC)

The Internal Committee of FTII deals with complaints of sexual harassment at workplace. It has the following members

The members mentioned at serial nos. 6 to 10 are ad-hoc members who shall participate only in complaints related to student.

Mandate of the internal Committee (IC)

1. The Committee functions as per Sexual Harassment of women at workplace (prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 and Government of India orders issued in this respect from time to time.

2. The Committee reviews the programmes and monitor implementation of development schemes for women in accordance with the guidelines suggested by the National Commission for Women.

3. Gender Sensitisation and Orientation.

4. Crisis Management and Mediation.

5. Enquiry and Redressal.

Any aggrieved person can approach any one of the above mentioned member(s) at any time

Sexual Harassment at workplace / academic institutions is a serious offence. This is punishable under the law. All concerned are required to take notice of legal procedures regarding the same.

The Committee is a constitutional body formed under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013, with the purpose of making FTII a safe and secure place for all women - students, faculty as well as staff.
