One Time "Golden Chance Scheme (GCS)” for awarding Diplomas

To mark the 60th year of its foundation , Film and Television Institute of India , Pune is offering one-time GOLDEN CHANCE SCHEME to award Diplomas to the former students who could not get their Diplomas due to non-completion of some pre-requisites. 
  1. The offer is open only to those who were admitted at any point in time from the inception of the Institute till year 2012 i.e till    batch admitted in 2012.
  2. The scheme is applicable only to the Alumni who after completing their entire duration of study have not been awarded Diplomas due to :
    (a) Non-payment of fees or dues or non-clearance of any other charges towards the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune.

    (Diplomas will be awarded only when outstanding fees or dues are cleared in full along with the penalty and before the date stipulated by the Institute).  
     
    AND / OR
     
    (b) Non-submission of final writing assignments such as Thesis/Dissertations/Scripts/Diary/Sessionals etc.

    (The Alumni will need to submit the assignment under the same norms as envisaged in the original course. The evaluation  of  the   assignment will be done by a Committee constituted especially for this purpose).
     
  3. The Scheme is not open to Alumni who have not passed or completed stages/exams at any point prior to  submissions of the writing assignment of the final year course requirements.
  4. Following may please be noted :
    (A) Applicants will have no recourse to any FTII facilities including secretarial, teaching, mentoring, library, office, boarding, lodging or any other. 
    (B) The  GCS  is  open  to   all former students -- Indian and Foreign  --  admitted to FII ( Film Institute of India - Former name of the  Institute  ) / FTII (Film and Television Institute of India - Present name of the Institute)
    (C) The applicant must submit the online form complete in all respect including necessary   attachments   of   documents (Scanned Copies), wherever required. 
    (D) Online   applications    are     available    on    FTII       website https://www.ftii.ac.in from 8th December 2019.  The last date for application is 16th January, 2020.       
    (E) The application fee is Rs. 1000/- ( One Thousand Rupees only.)
    (F) The Diploma so awarded will clearly mention the original course years.
    (G) The Diploma/Certificate will be signed by the present  administration and will bear the current date of signing.  
 
In disposing the applications received under GCS, the decisions of  FTII management will be final. No further communication / correspondence on this matter will be entertained.
 
Film and Television Institute of India reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason whatsoever.
