Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune under its ‘Centre For Open Learning (CFOL)’ announces course in “Basic Course in Screen Acting” from 13-17 November 2025 in Chandigarh.
1. Name of the Course: Basic Course in Screen Acting
2. Dates: 13th to 17th November 2025 (05 days)
3. Timing: 10 am to 06 pm (with a lunch break from 1 pm to 2 pm)
4. Max. no. of participants: 25 (Course may not be conducted if there are less than 20 participants)
5. Nationality: Indian
6. Educational qualification: HSC (12th std.) pass. In exceptional cases, 10th pass may be considered
7. Age: 18 years & above as on 01st Nov. 2025
8. Per participant Course fee: Rs 11,000/-
Course fee is excluding lunch, tea/ coffee, snacks etc.
Course fee of selected participants will be non-refundable, non-transferrable, non-adjustable, etc. under any circumstances Course fee of all the non – selected participants will be returned within 21 working days of the course commencement.
However, due to any reason, if the course is postponed OR cancelled by the organisers, course fee will be refunded.

- Due date & time to submit online application: 29 October, 2025, 6 pm IST. Application submitted after due date & time will not be considered.
- Selection Criteria: On First – Come – First – Served Basis. List of selected participants will be published on our website and selection emails will also be sent to all the selected participants.
- Certificates: All participants would be given participation certificate on successful completion of the course. Minimum 90% attendance is mandatory to get certificate.

- Communication with participants: All communications with the participants will be carried out through email only. List of shortlisted participants will be published on FTII website and selection email will be sent to the selected participants on their registered email.

1. Click open the link - https://onlinesbi.sbi.bank.in/sbicollect/icollecthome.htm OR visit https://onlinesbi.sbi.bank.in/ and further click on “SB Collect” which is at the top left, vertically 06th from left to right.
. In the Search box, search/Find FTII Fees Account and click submit.
2. In the payment category select “O3 Basic Course in Screen Acting in Chandigarh”.
3. Fill-up the application form with requisite details and proceed for payment.
4. Make necessary payment of Rs 11,000/-
5. Once payment is done, please note "SBI collect Reference Number" (mentioned in payment confirmation receipt). This may be required for future reference.
6. If possible, digitally store the receipt of payment. This can be carried out in one of the following ways;
(i) by taking printout of receipt of payment, scan & save it
(ii) by taking screenshot of payment (if using mobile) or print screen (if using computer)
(iii) by simply taking a photograph from mobile
7. No document/ certificate related to educational qualification, age etc. is to be attached. Participants’ self – declaration in the application form is sufficient.
8. Terms & conditions: By agreeing to the terms & conditions in the application form, participants are confirming that they have read & understood the website advt. They are eligible to apply and fulfil all the requirements as stated in the advt. Further, participants agree that decision of FTII Director regarding admission to the short course and its conduction in all respect will be final.
Course Director
Vinay Vikrant (Actor, Director, Professor, Mentor)
Renowned screen and theatre expert. With a strong foundation from FTII Pune and BNA Lucknow, he has led esteemed institutions as Head of Screen Acting at Doon Film School and taught at Parul University and Chandigarh University. A seasoned actor, director, and educator, he's mentored on Zee TV's "India's Best Dramebaaz," acted in numerous TV shows, films, and web series, and conducted film & theatre workshops across India.
