MFA in Cinema with
specialization in Direction & Screenplay-writing
The “Master of Fine Arts in Cinema” program with specialization
in Direction and Screenplay-writing is envisaged as 3-year curriculum, that will
firmly ground the students with a perspective on historical, social & economic
developments since the birth of cinema and enable them to draw inspiration from
the variety and depth of cinema practice in India.
Our main objective is to ensure that the grooming
artists of our country can enquire into their times and tell stories that
restore humanity. The students who go through this curriculum should be able to
be future ready in terms of developing technologies and exploring new forms and
territories in weaving stories.
