A renowned and well regarded actor, Shri R Madhavan completed his
Bachelor of Science from Shivaji University Kolhapur in the year
1993.
He received Padma Shri (2026), one of India's highest civilian
honour, for his contribution to Indian cinema. He has represented
india at prestigious platforms including the Cannes, Film
Festival, motivational speaking engagements at Harvard University
and international film markets. His multilingual fluency and
cultural sensitivity make him a unique ambassador for Indian arts
and values across diverse audience.
Madhavan is a rare Indian figure whose excellence spans cinema,
education, social reform, agriculture, and cultural diplomacy. His
career of over 25 years has produced critically acclaimed and
socially resonant works in multiple languages, reaching audiences

(Rocketry The Nambi Effect). As President of the Film and
Television Institute of India (FTII), he brought new energy and
