Remembering Ray (15th May, 2021) (Event)

'REMEMBERING RAY' an online event by FTII saw a galaxy of well known film educationists and industry practitioners, many of them FTII alumni, talk about Satyajit Ray's work, his qualities of head and heart and the legacy he has left behind.

Ray was well-known for his versatility and his innate ability to bring magic to the screen. FTII remembered his timeless contribution through a panel discussion about his work and talent that inspires, motivates, and touches everyone even today.

Dr Jabbar Patel, Arunaraje Patil, Santosh Sivan, Amit Tyagi,Madhu Apsara, Kedarnath Awati and Ashoke Viswanathan participated in the conversation attended by Mohan Agashe,Sriram Raghavan, Ratnottama Sengupta and nearly 250 film enthusiasts.

Prof. Pankaj Saxena, Dept of Screen Studies and Research, FTII moderated the discussion held as part of year long celebrations of Satyajit Ray Centenary.
