Dhiraj Singh is an officer of Indian Information Service, 1995
Batch. He is currently on deputation to the Film and Television
Institute of India, Pune as Vice-Chancellor of the Institute.
He has worked primarily in Government Communication and has
handled official media relations of the Prime Minister’s Office
for three Prime Ministers. He also looked after Media Relations of
the President Secretariat, Cabinet, and NITI Aayog.
He was Officer on Special Duty to the I&B Minister and served in
the Swachh Bharat Mission as Director.
He holds a 2-year PG
Diploma from IIM Bangalore in Public Policy & Management, MA and
MPhil in International Relations from JNU, and a BA from the
University of Allahabad.He was a visiting scholar at UC Berkeley
in 2020.
Apart from numerous academic papers and newspaper articles, he has
authored three books:
Modern Masters of Cinema, Modern Masters of Music, Painting, Television and Literature, and Lamhon Ke Patjhad (a collection of Hindi poems).
